With Heart and Circulatory disease claiming 200,000 lives a year, many could be saved with access to effective CPR and a defibrillator. Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are becoming more common throughout the UK with many universities, shopping centres and sports centres having access to them. This is a very practical First Aid course having hands on experience of using AED's as well as resuscitation and choking procedures which will give confidence and competence as well as a Nationally Accredited Award.
